The daily class schedule is from 8:20 a.m. – 2:50 p.m. for the Elementary School (grades K-6) and from 8:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. for the Upper School (grades 7-11).
Students in grades K-2 participate in Story Time with Mrs. Marshall (at 8:00 a.m. in the gym), and students in grades 3-6 participate in Morning Forum activities with Mr. Waits (at 8:00 a.m. in the auditorium).
Elementary campus doors will open to students at 7:30 a.m.
Upper School campus doors will open to students at 7:40 a.m.

Car Pick-Up
Parents must display their numbered dashboard cards. Parents who missed the All-School Open House must pick up their dashboard cards from the school front office.
Parents without numbered dashboard cards will be required to exit the car pick-up line, park, and present their ID to the front office.
Elementary Carpool opens at 2:40 pm
Enter the car line from SW Third Street and continue on Third Street to the corner of Kansas. The carpool line will continue south on Kansas next to the gymnasium.
For everyone’s safety, please make sure to:
- Never exit your vehicle while the engine is running.
- Under no circumstances should a child be left in a vehicle unattended.
- Please refrain from using electronic devices while moving in the carpool line.
- Third-party pick-ups are not permitted (individuals who are unknown to the School and not pre-authorized).
- If you are picking up your students to walk them home, please come to the Bell Tower to have your student called to the pick-up area.
- Once students are loaded into your vehicle, do not let them exit the vehicle. If your student needs to return to the School building, please exit that car line, park and escort your student back into the building.
Please help us be courteous to neighbors by adhering to the following good neighbor policies:
- Do not block driveways or entrance ways.
- Do not use neighborhood streets and/or driveways to turn around.
- Do not attempt U-turns in the roadway.
- Do not park on nearby streets in order to avoid wait times.
Walk-Out
This option is only for students who will either walk or bike home by themselves or who will walk home accompanied by a parent (or authorized adult).
Walk-out parents must inform TVCA staff of their assigned dismissal numbers and wait outside the school’s front doors for their students to be released.
Front Office Pick-Up
Under special circumstances (such as a doctor’s appointment), parents may pick up students from the front office before 2:20 p.m.
Parents who do not arrive for front office pick-up by 2:20 p.m. will be required to join the car line.
Late Arrival
Parents who arrive after the start of school must walk students into the front office and sign them in.
