Our Story
Treasure Valley Classical Academy is a Hillsdale College Certified School and is affiliated with the Barney Charter School Initiative. Our mission is to train the minds and improve the hearts of students through a classical, content-rich curriculum that emphasizes virtuous living, traditional learning, and civic responsibility.
As a traditional American school, our vision is to form future citizens who uphold the ideals of our country’s founding and promote the continuation of the American experiment–through a classical, great books curriculum designed to engage the students in the highest matters and the deepest questions of truth, justice, virtue, and beauty.
TVCA opened its doors as a tuition-free public charter school in the fall of 2019. We currently serve students in grades K-9 and will expand one grade per year to become a K-12 school. Charter schools in the State of Idaho are not permitted to bond or levy their communities like other public school districts. Instead, they must rely on private donations to fund ongoing maintenance and building projects.
About the Capital Campaign
